At Luving Paws, the seniors have always held a special place in our hearts. They're the ones so often overlooked, surrendered when they need their families most, or left waiting because of the gray on their faces. We see something different. We see dogs who still have so much life, love, and joy left to give.
​That's why we're incredibly honored to receive a Pathways Home Grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization.

This grant will help us give more senior boridoggies the second chance they deserve by providing the medical care, dental work, and support they need before finding the families who will love them for the rest of their days.
​
More importantly, this partnership is helping prove something we've believed all along; that senior dogs are worth every ounce of effort. By participating in the Pathways Home program, we're joining rescues across the country in finding better ways to help senior dogs leave shelter life behind and head home where they belong.

Fluffy
Fluffy is a 10 year old Shih-Tzu whose life almost ended when the only family he had ever known brought him t the veterinarian t be euthanized because of his severely infected eyes. Instead, Luving Paws stepped in. After receiving the medical care he desperately needed, Fluffy is now pain-free, happy, and thriving. Thanks t the support of The Grey Muzzle Organization, this sweet senior is finally ready to find the loving family he has always deserved.
Yo-yo
Yo-yo is an 8 year old Toy Poodle rescued from an animal cruelty case by ACIO PR after spending years without the veterinary care every dog deserves. He arrived with severe ear infections and permanent damage to his right eye, but that doesn't define him or slow him down. Thanks to the love and medical care he's received through Luving Paws and the support of The Grey Muzzle Organization, Yo-yo is healing beautifully and is ready to find the family he has always waited for.

Dariella is a 10 year old sweetheart who spent the last decade tied to a fence with a heavy chain. While her owner forgot about her, a kind neighbor made sure she had food and survived. Despite years without love or freedom, soaks up every gentle touch and is finally experiencing the life she always deserved. Thanks to the Grey Muzzle Organization she is healthy and ready to find a family that will cherish her forever.
Sakura
Sakura is a ray of sunshine with a smile you will never forget. After being found abandoned with a skin tumor near her mammary gland, she underwent surgery and has remained cancer-free for over 2 years. Now she's ready for her happily ever after. Sakura adores affection, gets along well with other dogs, and isn't afraid to show her main character energy. She is the perfect mix of sweetness, confidence, and endless joy.
Salvador
Salvador's story is nothing short of remarkable. Found in a desolate rural area he was paralyzed after contracting Botulism and fighting for his life. After making a full recovery, he faced another unimaginable battle; Distemper. Salvador beat the odds twice and has flourished ever since. Thanks to The Grey Muzzle Organization, this resilient senior is ready for the forever home he's fought so hard to find.
Ava
Ava is a 7 year old sweetheart who truly rescued herself. After a night of fireworks left her frightened and disoriented, she ran through the front gate of Luving Paws and straight onto The Land, as if she knew exactly where she belonged. Since that day, Ava has blossomed into a loving, affectionate girl who adores other dogs, children, cuddles, and playtime. Now she's ready to find her forever family thanks to the support of The Grey Muzzle Foundation.
