What does it mean to foster a dog?

Fostering a dog means welcoming a homeless dog into your home, providing it with love, care, and attention. This arrangement lasts either for a set period of time or until the dog finds a permanent home through adoption.

Why Foster in Puerto RicO?

♥️ After we rescue a Boridoggie they go directly to our veterinary clinic for our intake protocol, once finished and released from Dr.Agnelis Feliciano they come to our land to decompress and settle in, we work in his/her rehabilitation until we have a clear behavior portfolio.

♥️ Our fosters in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 help us to finish our behavior portfolio by giving our pups time to understand what living in a real home is like. It’s the last step for our rescues before they go to their forever homes. As a foster you will let us know how they behave in a home environment and family routine, you can foster a maximum of 3 weeks and is a very rewarding experience. We provided you with food, bed, treats and a very healthy dog….

Why to foster In USA?

♥️ Fostering in the mainland 🇺🇸 gives opportunities to our Boridoggies that they don’t have here in Puerto Rico. Many people prefer to meet the dogs before they make a life long commitment to adopt. There is a lot involved for someone to fly down to Puerto Rico to meet a doggie. If the doggie is already in the States it’s just a matter of setting up a time and driving over to meet him/her.

♥️ As a foster in Mainland you will work hand in hand with our adoption coordinator and you will let her know how they behave in a home environment and family routine. We provided you with food, bed, treats and a very healthy dog. Fostering is a very rewarding experience, be a part of a life transformation!!
