What does it mean to foster a dog?

Fostering a boridoggie means giving a rescued dog a safe, loving place to heal, decompress, and prepare for their forever family. By fostering, you are directly saving lives and becoming part of a dog's rescue story forever.

Why Foster in Puerto RicO?

♥️ Every boridoggie rescued by The Luving Paws Foundation begins their journey with extensive veterinary care, decompression, rehabilitation, and behavioral evaluation before becoming ready for adoption

♥️Fostering in Puerto Rico helps us prepare our dogs for real family life. Foster homes teach our boridoggies routines, comfort, trust, and what it means to live in a home environment.

♥️Foster families help us better understand each dog's personality, energy level, and ideal match, creating more successful, life long adoptions

♥️ The Luving Paws Foundation provides all supplies, support, and veterinary guidance throughout the foster period. Most foster placements are short term, but the impact lasts forever.

Why foster In The USA?

♥️ Fostering in the mainland United States gives our boridoggies opportunities they may not otherwise have in Puerto Rico. Many adopters prefer to meet a dog in person before making a lifelong commitment, and foster homes help make those connections possible.

♥️ Mainland fosters help our dogs adjust to family life, routines, and home environment while giving us valuable insights into each boridoggies personality and ideal forever home.

♥️As a foster, you work hand in hand with our adoption coordinator while providing a safe place for a dog to decompress, learn, and thrive. The Luving Paws Foundation provides support, guidance, and supplies throughout the foster journey.

♥️Fostering is temporary, but the impact is lifelong for both the boridoggie and the family who helps change their future.
